Who we are?

MRC Türkiye (formerly AF Mercados EMI Turkey) is a Turkish engineering and consultancy company based in Ankara. Since 2009, MRC Türkiye has been providing engineering and consulting services for the power sector.

We as MRC Türkiye provide engineering and advisory services within all aspects of Energy and Utility business (Distribution, Transmission, Generation and Energy Markets) and over the entire life cycle (from strategic planning to implementation stage) projects.

What we’re asking:

• B.Sc degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematic, Economy.
• Preferably interested in Energy Markets (energy distribution, renewable, retail, markets, etc.).
• Preferably knowledgeable in process analysis, efficiency, and improvement.
• Preferably with consulting or project-based work experience.
• Strong skills in reporting and analytical thinking.
• Besides a thorough knowledge of and experience with modelling, relevant technologies and regulatory frameworks, you also take an interest in business economics aspects. (The position offered requires not only expertise in your own field, but also excellent communication skills, commercial feeling and approach, and a client-oriented and flexible attitude. )
• Teamwork, goal orientation and perseverance come naturally to you, as do excellent verbal and written communication skills and a thorough command of English. For our international projects you may need to travel abroad.  
• Other requirements expected from you is as follows:

      Willingness and ability to undertake work on client site,

      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus,
      Meeting targets and an ability to work to tight deadlines and cope under pressure,

      MS Office Application experience, preferably with VBA knowledge,
      Ability to perform multiple tasks in different projects.

Job Description

• Utility Management:

-        Business Process Management: Ensure efficient operations by analyzing workflows, optimizing processes, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement.

-        Utility Transaction Advisory: Provide comprehensive support in due diligence studies, and regulatory compliance to facilitate seamless transactions and operational continuity.

-        Organizational Efficiency Services: Enhance organizational effectiveness by evaluating structures, developing transition plans, and aligning key performance indicators (KPIs) with strategic objectives.

-        DSO & RETCO CAPEX/OPEX Requirement Justification Services: Optimize budget allocations by analyzing revenue requirements, assessing expenditure effectiveness, and projecting short to medium-term financial needs.

-        Reference Company Model Services: Identify industry best practices, benchmark methodologies, and recommend strategies for performance improvement based on comparative analysis and company-based models.

• Energy Markets

-        Market Design & Energy Market Modelling: Design market structures, develop forecasting models, and provide strategic guidance to optimize energy market operations and enhance competitiveness.

-        Privatization Consultancy: Guide clients through privatization processes with detailed financial and technical evaluations, ensuring smooth transitions and maximizing value.

• Data Analytics and Modelling:

-        Data Gathering and Analysis: Leverage data analytics tools to collect, analyze, and derive insights from diverse datasets, enabling informed decision-making and performance optimization.

-        Visualization and Reporting: Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively, enabling stakeholders to understand complex data and make informed decisions.

-        Intelligent Decision Support Systems: Develop tailored decision support systems and interfaces to empower users with data-driven insights and streamline decision-making processes.

You will be working in a team or individually on client-oriented solutions with a commercial approach and on an operational, tactical and sometimes strategic level in the customer’s organization. The work will be carried out in national and international project teams in collaboration with both company’s and clients’ experts and staff.
