Shift Engineer

Main Accountabilities

·       Check the purchases of oilseed, chemicals, fuel and all kinds of materials

·       Eliminate the problems that may happen during the production period

·       Ensure coordination among the units

·       Controlling of the samples which operators take in accordance with the quality plan

·       Managing shift workers and tracking their time off information

·       Responsible for ensuring intermediate product and final product standards at every stage of production

·       Enable to send the employee to the nearest hospital in case of a work accident during the production process and inform Plant Management about this accident

·       Being responsible for all the facilities, machinery, equipment and tools in the Unit

·       Being supervisor of the implementation of hygiene rules

·       Enable the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment and safety procedures in the Shift Unit

·       Reporting the problems of food, environment, safety and energy management and contributing to the projects of energy efficiency

·       Apply the rules for the management of dangerous goods’ evacuation and storage works in accordance with the guidance of Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor

·       Generating sustainable solutions for losses by leading problem-solving processes(5S, RCA, 5 Whys etc.) actively

·       Taking an active role in ensuring continuous development and sustainability

·       Contributing to Bunge Production System projects and activities effectively

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Key Competencies

·       Graduated from an Engineering Department (preferably from Chemical, Food, Mechanical and Electrical&Electronic departments)

·       Excellent command of both written and spoken English

·       Strong analytical thinking, as well as well-developed follow up skills

·       Proficient in MS Office and SAP program

·       Developed communication skills

·       Demonstrated leadership capabilities

·       Strong presentation skills & prone to teamwork
