IGH Flavours & Technology was founded in 1957. We are flavour manufacturers for a multitude of segments in the food and beverage industries. We create and manufacture flavours, emulsions, extracts, compounds, sauces, syrups, fruit preparations, concentrated drinks and powdered and functional preparations.

IGH Turkey is recruiting talented staff capable of developing and improving its production and quality processes in production facility at Ikitelli, Istanbul (European Side).

About the Role;

Quality Assurance

-        Having knowledge and at least three years of experience in BRC Quality Management System, halal and kosher certification processes

-       Ensuring that quality standards are met throughout the production process. 

-       To oversee the implementation of quality control procedures at each stage of manufacturing or distribution.

-       To plan and conduct internal quality audits and take appropriate corrective actions on identified problems.

-       To maintain quality documentation without problem for audits.

-       To participate in the supplier selection process.

-       To develop strategies to improve the production process

-       Providing training to individuals who handle the products

-       Formulate timely reports and documentation to track progress

-        Identify the training requirements to meet the quality standards

Production Planning

-        To provide the necessary logistic support for production planning,

-       Dealing with the raw material purchases and providing logistic support when necessary,

-       Ensuring that production work orders are opened and forwarded to production,

-       Collecting and reporting data on machinery and personnel in production,

-       Developing new strategies for the realization of production targets,

-       To examine the way of production and to develop a method in this field,

-       To identify problem areas and to carry out quality improvement studies,

-       To work in the field of cost reduction and productivity increase,

-       To ensure effective and correct use of resources

-       To control the conformity of the products and production processes with the relevant specifications and safety standards,

-       To control the compliance of the raw materials, equipment or materials supplied from the suppliers with the desired quality standards,

-       Preparing periodic activity reports and presenting them to the Country Manager,

-       To support the creation of action plans by examining customer complaints,

-       Taking part in improvement activities that increase product quality and efficiency of the production process,

Education Qualification and Experience 

·        A Bachelor’s degree / Food Engineer or Chemical Engineer

·        Having relevant experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing is an added advantage

·        Quality assurance knowledge of tools and methodologies

·        Certification programs in Quality Improvement associate, quality auditor, and quality engineer is an asset.

·        Ability to get along well with others.

·        Able to think logically and critically about issues and solve problems.

·        Have a good command of English

·        Min. 5 years of experience
