QUALIFICATIONS

• Have Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or similar Engineering
• Having at least B class certification by Labor Ministry
• Have good command  of written and spoken English,
• Proficient in MS Office programs,
• Analytical and decision making skills
• Have good communication skills
• No restriction to travel locally / internationally
• Being an active driver,
• Having no obligation for military service for male candidates,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Fulfilling all duties within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, Regulation on Duties, Authorities and Responsibilities of Occupational Safety Specialists and other relevant legislation,
• To carry out studies in accordance with the legislation and to follow the practices in order to prevent accidents, fires or explosions in the workplace; To prepare emergency plans for situations such as natural disasters, accidents, fires or explosions, to have periodic trainings and exercises, to act in line with the emergency plan,
• Providing guidance and consultancy to employers on occupational health,
• To investigate the causes of occupational accidents in the workplace and to make suggestions by working on the measures to be taken to prevent their recurrence,
• Working in coordination with the Occupational Physician and Other Health Personnel,
• Identification of hazards, risk analyzes and assessments, and development of applications to eliminate risks and implementation of field applications,
• Participating in the occupational health and safety committee, risk assessments and field inspections,
• Conducting training needs analysis and providing trainings within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety,
• Renewing the legal legislation follow-up and conformity assessment list at regular intervals or in case of any legislative change and taking action when necessary,
• ISO 14001 Environment and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems management
• Planning and implementation of HSE Investment projects
