QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Yılmaden Holding, established in 2014, is the metals and mining division of Yıldırım Group of Companies, a fast-growing industrial conglomerate based in Istanbul, Turkey. At Yılmaden, we work together across all business units located in 7 different countries with one objective that is extracting the valuable minerals such as chromite from the ground and turn it into ferroalloys, chrome metals and chemicals.

For our growing organization, we are looking for a Strategy Assistant Specialist to be based in Maslak Office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Min. 2 years of experience in strategy and investment units of commodity producers and consulting companies,

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Previous experience with regular reporting techniques and strong presentation skills

Good command of MS Office Programs,

Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Turkish and English,

Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in Engineering; Master of Science (MSc) or Master of Art (MA) is a plus,

Capable of working in a demanding deadline-driven and flexible working hours environment, ability to produce quality work with attention to details,

No military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Work with the metals and mining group under Strategy and Investment Team, to support strategy development initiatives critical to the strategic goals

Monitor the implementation of the strategic plan

Support developing business strategy including target commodities (e.g., critical minerals) and regions, to including potential midstream and downstream opportunities in the value chain

Support to assess the technical and commercial merits of metals and mining projects, to assist in the early-stage screening and evaluation and to report to top management

Work closely with functional heads to develop and implement turnaround projects that align with the overall strategic plans
